Have you thought about using a brush on filler primer, once dry it only needs the lightest of wet sands to rub it back level, I can't see it doing any damage to the engraved lettering.

Does anyone know of any good predator model kits available in the UK, I've been searching the the web but most results are from the US. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, the only thing i can say really is that i gave all the mdf pieces a coating of super glue as mdf tends to split very easily, you can also sand it down & get a nice smooth finish.

The plan is to make it so everything functions, the cylinder does turn but i just need to attach it to the front end. I made the catch over the weekend just not going to attach it untill everything else is done so it doesn't get broken.

Yes it will, i have some 12 gauge shotgun cartridges that im going to use untill i get round to making up some shells.
