The gun and display are finished and I picked them up today. He decided to include a red flashing palm crystal life clock (what ever it's called) in the custom base that he made...I think it came out awesome! I will try and upload a video of the display and the gun firing as well.

A friend of mine is building 2 replica Sandman guns, one for him and one for me...we will need stands of some sort to display them on, any one here make a display for a Sandman gun, or have any ideas for a display?

Just tried, but it didn't budge. Didn't want to use too much force, but I used a fair amount of pressure and I couldn't get it to line up...it had no effect at all. :cry I'm thinking it's going to have to go back :wacko

Got mine, and I think it's awesome, but I think there is a problem with the hinge on mine I wanted to post a picture here and ask that you guys confirm that yours doesn't have the same issue before I reach out to EFX for a replacement. The hinge is uneven, causing the door not to sit 100%...
