update to the query, I've done the helmet of the Mk 37 Iron Man suit in cardboard and had real issues with getting the curves right, does anyone have any advice or methods to get it smooth?

next step... downsizing the pressure needed so you can have a smaller air tank

Anybody able to give a rough idea how many rolls of tape it takes? I know fat people like me will need more than thin people but don't want to get halfway through then have to waddle to the shops for more!
