I love the combination of CG and real prop of the friendly Aliens (Volm) Heck!, I like the design so much I'd love to build the damn costume... but my skills are limited.

I need help on how to do the belt for this costume. I have a basic idea, but the holster looks kind of diagonal. I did research on western belts, they all have a few things in common like the bullet holders, double belt closure, etc. At first I thought it was a v shaped belt, for lefthanded...
