hey there not sure if this is dead now but would love to see any progress also what motor did you end up using i'm doing a similar build and wold love to see the arduino code you used iv got a random collection of motors from things iv pulled apart but not sure which one i could use for my build .

Haha yea i did think about it but its a total bugger to assemble with the rear coils aligned properly to work now you can make an espresso while shooting laser beams :D

Thanks for the input guys, i just spoke to them on there live chat and who ever i was talking to told me they would definitely class it as a gun replica after seeing a picture of it and if i tried to send it anyway it would get picked up in the export x-ray's and stopped this is getting daft...

yes i know its ridiculous it not like this can be mistaken for a real gun and they allow Nerf guns so why not this, anyhow thanks for the suggestion i will give FedEx a try i find it weird iv actually received prop guns via UPS but cant send them lol whats that about.

cant find a paint color you after see if a local body shop can mix you some up ? try looking at car manufacturer color books and find one close then use the reference code it give for the paint and i'm sure somewhere can mix if for you :D

iv had a similar issue cold casting with bronze powder the powder itself if 400 mesh which is super fine but like Risu when i polish it i seem to polish straight through the powder despite using the 1:1:1 mix ratio i'm also using onyx fast and this sets of to quick to degas and using a syringe...
