I'm just gonna leave this here... I have this saber and it. is. awesome. Yeah it's definitely more than $500 and it's not the one in the new Obi-Wan series but it's probably way better than what Haslab has to offer and with more features. It can do a lot more saber effects that what you see...

Well I could be wrong as I'm only going off of information posted in another thread here at The RPF but I read that Daryl of TexasSPR lost the license to make screen accurate replicas of the Highlander swords and that he can take several years to deliver with some still waiting on their swords...

If you're going for screen accuracy, then I understand you wanting to go with painted aluminum and casting the handle in resin. However that means that no matter what blade you use, these will not be "combat ready"/mat cutting ready as the resin will crack and of course, aluminum is too soft...

Understandable. Consider me interested.
