The moment of truth. It was at this point that I noticed a few imperfections, but I filled them with spackle before spraying with clear coat.

It took FOREVER for the plaster to dry fully. Days and days. Then I coated it with clear dry erase spray paint. I needed two cans to get all of it. It sort of sucks up whatever you spray on it until it saturates. it definitely takes some patience to do stuff like this.
