A memorable build from the 90s. I was making the reluctant transition from enamel paints to acrylic paints. A chum showed me how to paint with acrylics and once I was secure enough with them, I bought a set of Gunze Sangyo paints and went to work. Washes and drybrushing brought out detail in a model that the first time around (1974) I l never painted. Underneath the layers of paint, the plastic is black. The dulling lacquer missed a few spots.
