Stacked layers. Remember they are folded in half. Left room to cut a 1/2 inch off the bottom layer. it looked too fat.
After its trimmed, all 3 next to each other.

1st and 3rd layer measuring to get the middle distance for the second layer.
thats the top most layer. still need to make the middle one. These get covered in yellow fabric of course. all sewn together.
still seems fat. when belted to me it should make it a little better. but we shall see.
