Pee-Wee's Big Adventure Bike

A little progress today. I have the fitment for the middle tank done. Now to clean it up and set it aside for paint.

This is how the screen used bikes are, except those have a vac formed plastic insert, but it's the same principle.

Congrats on the siren housing. Not an easy piece to come by, althought I suspect it may have just gotten a little easier if you're molding it...

That bag is looking nice too.

Those bags are looking great! Gregg.. Will your tiger head and parts transfer into that new housing with no problems? Also I found another frame today!!!!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1407008842.676473.jpg

Nice work everyone. I'm going to be heading down to the flea market tomorrow, and see if I can find anything there. Abe's been a great help in finding frames.

Looks great Rudd! Make sure when you get the chrome tape you get the really thin stuff, that is what they used on the screen used bikes. I think once I get my chrome plated bags done I'm going to do a set with the chrome tape. I hate to say it...but I'm kinda in love with how the tape looks.

As far as the new tiger head siren...yes they are going to be available. I'm going to mold the housing, the face plate and the tiger, plus I'm having stickers made and will do red lenses for them.

Here is the first casting of the face plate:

There will be a little clean up, but I'm pretty happy with them.

I'm also done molding the tank emblems. I just got in 2.5 pounds of aluminum powder so I can cold cast them and they will come out nice and shiny. I'm most excited about that I think.

Not the first go round. I want to leave the tiger head largely as is so I can have a resin casting of the original piece I'm doing. I did remove the tongue and the jewel, but nothing more than that. I'd like to....but it will probably be in a little while.
