need help with finding a pressure pot replacement lid

Thanks, but I tried that. :(
Sorry. Only other thing I can think of is to search ebay for a lid, maybe someone out there has a bad pot with a now useless lid.

You cued say that, but happen is the lid at 130 PSI blue the lid right off with.
So my lid got destroyed !

What pot is it by the way? There aren't too many rated for that kind of pressure, and they are mucho expensive.

What kind is it?

I have switched to vacuum, no longer using pressure so I only use the lower half of my pot as a vacuum chamber if necessary.

Wait, didn't your pot have a check valve?

Yup. Unless it is obvious that one of the clamps failed; major structural failure of the pot or lid itself is indicative it is a goner.

for the price you will pay to get a lid, you can buy a good pot, I just got two 2.5 gal. ca tech. pots for a steel.
you've blown the top off your pot, the clamps have to be deformed to some degree and are now unsafe. your life is worth more than a $100 pressure pot.
