Help: Rogue One: Jyn Erso A180 Gun --- Plastic Base ??

Hi everyone, Jim from Atlantic Canada.
So, I used to build props and just trying to get into it a bit again, with next to no resources, and no big supply or toy stores to pick in...

I really want to build a Jyn Blaster.
I'm amazed at the quality of what's being done in here with the airsoft guns.

Straight up, I can't afford, as a budding hobbiest, to go the metal route. I also don't like resin casts... I only like to completely hand construct.

I want to build based on a PLASTIC Luger Pistol for my base.

PROBLEM... there are no Luger P08 Plastic Guns that I can find, except for miniatures. Certainly nothing in my area, and nothing online anywhere.

QUESTION: Anyone know where I can find fairly inexpensive Plastic Luger P08 Lugers ? I don't care if it's a BB gun, a model, a toy, as long as it's proper size and detailed. (found an old cap gun that had a horrible upper body design).

I appreciate ANY help... this is one I really want to try out.

On eBay I have occasionally seen a Luger springer that comes with a barrel extension. You might be able to find a Denix for around $50
