What is your 2016 Prop/Costume To-do list?

I hate New Year's Resolutions, but I LOVE laying out a list of expectations for myself for the year and there is no better way to hold yourself to your list than to make that list public. So... here are my prop and costume based projects for 2016. Feel free to list up yours as well.

  • Design stands for Predator helmets - stands designed and sent to machinist for prototyping. - Stands being finished up now!
  • Finish Frank the rabbit costume - waiting to get access to original costume. Project on hold until then.
  • Finish Poncho grenade launcher - shipping grenade launcher to machinist.
  • Finish Universal Soldier costume - headset came in from shapeways. Working with modeller to make a few changes.
  • Finish Impaled Starship Trooper - Putting together chest rig for leg!
  • Finish self-contained glow stick for Pandorum - have decided to permanently abandon this project.
  • Finish Aliens drop-ship helmet - have decided to permanently abandon this project.
  • Finalize Breaking Bad costume display - Mannequins on backorder.
  • Finish TFA Tie pilot costume - waiting on chest and back armor from ANOVOS.
  • Finish Royce machete sheath - no progress.
  • Finish cleanup of Royce’s Berserker helmet trophy - sent this project to artist. Got back concept art. Proceeding forward!
  • Finish P1 predator mask - gained access to original Predator laser cluster! Using to scale laser housing!
  • Finish Mg-15 - no progress.
  • Find charging handle for Mg34 - sent mg-34 to machinist. they are determining how to re-position charging handle.
  • Buy the perfect E-11 - no progress.
  • Buy MPP for Webley flare gun - MPP obtained!
  • Finish undersuit for Myrmidon - no progress.
  • Restore Universal Soldier Headset - talked to a modeller about restoration.
 
Ive got quite a few ideas on the boil and hopefully a fair bit of time this year to get most of them done.

Finish Indy idol
Finish Terminator 45 long slide with laser sighting / laser complete, mount in progress.
Start building RC 1:1 scale bb-8 / parts aquired, a few more to go
Start building Flying Delorean
Start building Flying tardis
Start building DL-44 blaster base guns aquired
Start building Wolverine arm in a jar (just bones with adamantium covering with claws)
Start building Lifesize full Wolverine skeleton in clear case (big but it'll be bloody cool)
Start building Terminator T800 arm in a jar.
Start building working 66 batman, batmobile phone / All parts aquired, will also have batsignal when ringing.
Start building Stargate zat gun
Start Building RC Star wars mouse droid
Build James bond " " """""""""""""""""" " " First one built just before Christmas and sent out, 2 more on the way.
Rebuild K.I.T.T. (looks more like "junk yard dog" than "The fastest safest strongest car in the world" for those in the know....lol.
Starlord weopon cache in case with most prized possessions completed...........
Starlord functional wall tape player, parts aquired
Custom lightsaber hilts, Material aquired and first nearly completed with visible crystal.........

Build Streethawk, bike aquired........

Got a few on the go already.... which do you think I should next?

I try not to set my expectations too high lol

- Start Building : Star Trek Type 3 Phaser rifle
- Finish : First Order Stormtrooper Helmet (And perhaps expand to whole suit)

Thats just about it atm, I have lots of things I would like to do but if I start thinking about them I will start them and not finish my other projects lol :p
 
Having a list makes me feel so much more accomplished when I can start checking stuff off of it! Here's my build goals for 2016:

Batman belt and gadgets (Adam West, 1960s Batman)
Captain Falcon helmet (SSB Melee)
Nightwing armbands (Under the Red Hood)
Captain Mal pistol (Firefly)
 
Fallout 4
-Atom Cats T-60 (model some parts, run molds, contribute)
-Atom Cats / retrofuturistic greaser outfit (assemble, weather)
-Kremvh's Tooth (fix handle, weather, ?mold?)
-Alien Blaster (print, finish, mold, kit)

Finish Halo 4 flood spartan.. sometime, maybe??

Finish Terminator Longslide 1911 (All metal)
Finish Det. Spooners Gun
Finish Wookie Bowcaster
Finish 2 x Jango Fett blaster (All metal)
Finish 2 x Naboo Blasters (Metal and wood)
Finish 9 x Resign/3D Guns/Blasters

and also all the new blasters/guns I will no doubt buy this year

It's gonna be a BIG year

Finish my Anovos ANH Stormtrooper & get 501st approved!
Build up Rey Antique W-Wing helmet (Forgot)

If I can complete all those in 2016 I'll be thrilled!

Plus refinish & Make cushions for two plain Burke 116 Chairs for the dining room.

All Star Wars, Original Trilogy:
  • Finish Han ANH Hero blaster (soon...)
  • Make a few Merr-Sonn blasters in resin (Cast parts of above with different greeblies. Permission has been acquired)
  • Finish Rebel Blaster pistol
  • Finish refurbishment of my X-wing pilot costume
  • Version 2 of my Luke ROTJ lightsaber circuit board (and offer spares here)
  • Build some and rebuild some shadow boxes for displaying my collection.
 
When my to-do list hits 88 projects, I'm gonna be in serious s***! ;)

- Finish up the mods on the KIA Time Machine
- put together the misc. parts acquired for display Mr. Fusions
- start making more custom 2015 Marty Jackets --finished one as a Christmas gift (shown below)--
- keep trying to sell my extra Fluxes
- build some more Tom Servos
- build at least one SLIDERS (s1) timer.
- build a WH13 Farnsworth device
- Find/make some SA black boxes for the CLUE weapon props
- Get a John Bender Breakfast Club cosplay together --DONE--
- Help a friend get his TPB Fezzik cosplay together --DONE--
- Piece together the various denim jackets I have into a more SA Marty Guess jacket
- Add in a voice module to the BTTF Walkies
- finish the Hoverboard color variations started.
- finish 'Inconspicuous' Marty --first draft outfit together--
- Find the pieces for 'Darth Marty' --pieces found, now on to the assembly--
- Get the Part III model railroad DeLorean built.

Additional:
--make my Gideon Graves cane-sword for the Scott Pilgrim group cosplay
--custom make the two-tone western shirt for the S.P. group's Stephen Stills character
--make Marty's 1955 "Roy Rogers" western getup.
--Finish up the 'Rufus' Cosplay for the Bill & Ted group.

- Figure out how to fill, sand, prime and paint a 3D print of the 8th Doctor's Alternate Sonic Screwdriver.
- Wonder Woman Crossplay Costume
- Flaming sword and tornado effect for a Superfriends Samurai costume
- Make another plush TARS robot for myself (made one for the RPF Secret Santa)
- Re-do and upgrade Khan Noonien Singh Wrath of Khan costume for Vegas
- Make cheapo Hong Kong Star Trek Monster Maroon uniform more screen accurate.
- Finish a $15 light saber hilt build and video.
- Lose 20 pounds so I can fit in all these costumes... :/
 
FINALLY finish my ROTJ Boba Fett costume. - Finished, but i need to remake the chest armor and shoulder bells, and repaint all of the armor pieces.
Finish my Kylo costume
Rework my Team Fortress 2 Engineer costume
Remake my No Face costume
Design a custom Star Wars character - Worked with Wenners to rough up a sketch. Got my fabric together, and started the armor portions with pepakura.
