1/6 Scale X-wing Cockpit Only

Hi Izz,

I'm totally oblivious when it comes to electronics. That's why I hand all that neat stuff to our sound and lighting guys - but I am slowly learning.

I wasn't saying to create the entire engines, just the large intakes. Maybe a cutout to see the size? ;)

Keep up the great work.

You have sound and lighting guys???? :D love the Falcon Project. Wish I could see it in person.

LOL Well... they're not mine exactly. I mean, I feed them so they keep coming back. ;) I'm very fortunate to have stumbled across these guys - amazingly talented!

Thanks so much for the kind words. Our project is slowly coming along. But let's get back to those engines! ;)

I will be working on this Friday, Sat, and Monday. I will be picking up more styrene Friday. I don't really anything new to post yet. but I did make another quick YouTube vid of the X-wing project. Not sure how to add your own music, other than the stock audio files on YouTube. If anyone knows could you let me know. I will make one more once I finish the entire project but here you go for now.

Sorry about the mess it's usually cleaner than that. :D

Excellent work, very nice to see it all come together. The area you are modeling took me about 2 months to loft the lines, I can't even remember how many times I erased the cockpit and started over.

I know I said no more vids until I was done but I can't show you the different lighting modes that it has without a vid. So here it is:

added some more detail to the front cockpit and side panels. Finished putting the panels on the outside of the cockpit. I have some putty filling and sanding to do. Then I can prime it, paint it and then weather it. I still have to finish the canopy and add a few more light and she will be done. :D

almost done here:

Thanks for looking. :)

got some time to work on the X-wing today. Did a little more work on the interior cockpit. Some small details that I found while looking through some pics. Some may not even notice them. Let me know if you what they are? :D

Also I was able to prime and paint the paint scheme for my X-wing. Still need to weather the exterior and finish the back top and front canopy. It's almost done. :) here are a few pics;

love this model, great video too...funny how the chin strap looks like the pilots mouth like something out of robot chicken.
