1/6 Scale X-wing Cockpit Only

This is really an inspiring project and you have completely some how captured the X-Wing to the excitement as I looked at it as a child.. To me you have rekindled some old star wars enthusiasm. Thanks for posting this project.. I have been more of a lurker as of late.. but had to comment on this.

holy freakin' crap!!!!

I wish He had done the inside or at least shown the inside of the cockpit.

This is insane! I love it!

Are you going to blank the bottom of the console once it's all wired?
Lots of light leaking out.

Well I'm 99.5% done. Couple more things to add to the top canopy and It's done.

HI IzzMel! Your work is really amazing you are an inspiration to your fellow builders!

Just a quick one, where is the HUDs-targeting computer viewfinder that slide on the side of the pilot head?
I know the ANH version has that or is this the ESB version?

I haven't added it yet. :). Still trying to workout some issues with it. Not sure about the slide pole and actual size of the targeting computer. I have a mockup built but I'm not happy with it. :( I hope to have something soon.

I finished the internals of the front top cockpit:

For the most part she is done. Just some minor tweaking and a targeting computer. Here a couple more shots. of the outisde with and without the pilot:

I also tried to get some cockpit view shots (wasn't easy) and some back shots.

I tried the lights but as you can see it's a tad bit too bright. :D

Thanks for looking and for all the comments. Time to move onto another project. :)

As we say in the R2 Builders Club, it's never really finished... always something I can improve upon.

JPCOdessa70 here is the targeting computer. :D however it hasn't been painted. Here are a couple of shots. Keep in mind it's not finished yet.
