I've taken on the task of doing upgrades to this old hasbro DL-44. More specifically the scope. I've removed it and remodeled it to resemble a more movie accurate version of the blaster. I've made both the ANH & EMPIRE version of the DL-44's. Looking for some feedback..... Thanks.

I know next to nothing about painting up parts... trying to learn... but the effect you have there of the scratched off black to reveal "metal"... could I aswhat paints did you use, and what was your process? IT woudl be great to know... I have something similair I need to do with a plastic part on an all metal, scratched up prop.

The version with the long scope (ANH?). I've located my old Kenner DL-44 and want to do this to it. Any way you could help me out?
