Knight Rider's KITT - My finished replica! New Video Added!

Re: Knight Rider's KITT - My finsihed replica!

I'm sorry, I'm asking you this without knowing what you've been throught, but did you tried to get some money by offering service with the car ? Like wedding, reception, " be driven from here to there with KITT ", etc ? Maybe that could help. It's heartbreaking to see how much work you did for this car and have to sell it. Good luck to you...

Re: Knight Rider's KITT - My finsihed replica!

Your only about 40 miles from me. I'm in Vernon. Right off Rt. 84
If your ever in the area, let me know. I'd be glad to show
you the car if it is still here! :thumbsup

Thanks. I'm not out that way normally. Hopefully soon someday.

Re: Knight Rider's KITT - My finsihed replica!

This past weekend, a friend of mine gave me his old copy of Sony Vegas Movie Studio. I spent last night tinkering with the program to see what I could figure out.

When I got out of work this afternoon, I went out and shot some videos of KITT and edited this video together in about 4 hours. Thought I would share it with the group.

Enjoy.

Man, :cheers That is awesome. Great job dude!

A couple years ago I saw a KITT clone setting in a storage yard not far from my house. One day it had a for sale sign in it and I wanted to get in there to check it out, but it sold before I had the chance.

Avolow.

Thanks for the comment! :)

Yeah, various versions of KITT cars show up on occasion for sale.

Some fully finished, some partially, and some just half @ss thrown
together. You need to pick and choose when buying one of these.

i'm still waiting on electronics..

sigh.

well, i guess i should figure out how to properly paint the dash at this point while i'm waiting.

That is so impressive, did you manage to keep it in the end?
After so much work it would have been a shame to let it go, very nice work.
It's a pity I'm not over that way, i could have bought it and you would've been able to visit it.
