OdiWan72´s prop family

I have an mgc Mauser but it's with the 9mm in the grips. Any suggestions on where to find grips that fit the mgc to replace these with?

I managed to get the DEC grips to fit my MGC's nicely.

Both of my MGC's had the same problem. The "9" in the grips.

Small update with some things I have been working on lately plus some new aquisitions

Lets start with the detention block camera, conversion parts supplied by blue realm (love this kit!). As you can see I decided not to paint the viewers -for now :lol- but the two tone color is growing on me :lol Still have to add the stickers and the bracket to secure it to my offices wall

Next are a few pictures of two Obi sabers I built. One is based on an old russrep V2, the second one uses an Anakin Starkiller V2 from his first run.

Had to get in on Dans run for even more accurate V2´s plus nicksdads run of Luke ROTJ hero saber (which replaces my old SD Studios saber)

Was lucky to get one of the recently surfaced female BPs (thanks again guys!).
Already have a converted mal BP on my recent Obi saber, along with real grenade, Graflex clamp and handwheel. Was also able to buy a real Booster, so once I have everything in hand I will redo my saber to make it all real and add the missing details such as cotter-pin, screws etc. :cool

Attached you´ll find some comparsion pictures of my male BP from the first RR engine and my new female BP. besides of the already known size difference, there also seems a significant difference regarding their finish!? The male has a matte surface, where the female is much shinier after removing all the debris is was encapsuled in...

Last thing to show for now is the RR flame tube, that came from the same engine that my new BP origins from :)

as always...thx for looking :)

forgot to mention, that I also received one of the CfO Darth Vader helmet two days ago...believe it or not, but I still did not have the time to open the box :lol

Lovely collection of lightsabers. I'm alway surprised at the size of the detention block camera, for some reason I've always thought they were much smaller.

Any specifics on that russ rep V2/ANH stunt? That paint job is rare around here, but more accurate to photos I at least feel. :) I love it! nice switch on the other too!

Many thanks gentlemen :$

Are you planning an IG-88 with your flame tube?
@Unfated/ SVS:
I think I will leave the flame-tube unmolested, not keen on cutting it down for a IG88 conversion.
But I plan to make it a IG88´ish lamp or something, we´ll see. If all plans fail, it will just be a piece of "junk" to compliment my 1:1 Jawa :cool

What specifics are you talking about? I just wanted to put the "spare" sabers I had to good use and felt inspired by the great work done by matty matt (IIRC), based on the few pics of the ANH obi stunt sabers. Still have a two of these microswitches with red cap, if anybody is interested...

btw: Here is a quickly taken pic of the CfO helmet I received three days ago...

What a fugly piece of ******!!! And this is meant in the best possible way :lol
I can´t even imagine all the work, that the prop dept. had to put into cleaning/ finishing the mask and dome...it´s aweful (doesn´t show from a distance) :rolleyes But boy, this helmet has character...I love it.

Any idea how to -non-permanently- attach the dome to the facemask for display (while aligning it correctly)?

Send me prayers, that my wife will NEVER EVER ask me, what I paid for this "piece of junk". She´s understanding, but I am tired of her shaking head, when I tell about the prices for my acquisitions :lol
