So the new Propstore blueprint auction, and Adam Savage's video with Brandon Alinger, has brought up some interesting discussions about what a blueprint is, and the contents of these particular Star Wars technical drawings that were created for the first film.

I've got a pretty complete writeup on R2's blueprints, for those interested.
