This is my 2014 halloween build that i have been working on for thw past month or so. I am trying for the full effect groot including a shoulder riding rocket with radio controlled gun. Branches with orangle leds tp simulate the fire scene from the movie. And growing flowers from the hand. I already am 6'4 so i only added 1 ft lifts to my groot. Any questions comments i would love to here. Lots more pics to come!!! Updated 10\27

Rocket was made from deconstructing the most realistic stuffed animal i could find...i actually cut off his arms and legs and reshapped his chest and stomach to be more humanoid type. Elongated the arms and legd with upholstery foam and put him back together. His outfit was made out of a vest found at a thrift shop.

ahhhh i was gonna do lighting on my costume as well!! But then i decided to just have a light mini tree in my hand instead! Ps, your picture doesnt work!! It comes up with an error message and it snot viewable! Awesome job by the way!

Ill take a pic for you when i get home. I used a 2 x 4 13" base with a for top and bottom and then cut up some old crutches tp make the strap supports.

Thank you! Any questions on how any of of it was done what was used feel free to ask. Love making them and hearing what people think

It's awesome that you did the lights in the arms. Couldn't see the pic of the flower in hand...

Can you post of pic of your stilts maybe? I made mine about a foot high but have been contemplating making the leg strap /extra support part... Wasn't sure how to do it best...
