He moves where the heat is less likely to burn. I suspect things are too new and hot in California, and even his friends won't let him crash with them anymore,and enough time in Florida has passed to cool things off a bit. He will stay u until he wears out his welcome, friends kick him out and he steals from someone who will be looking for him... Then it's back to California with hopes that the flames have died down enough to start all over.
Actually it's path of least resistance. He is now not being a prop-maker, but a 'promoter'. Props are not his business anymore, so it's purely him as promotion guy. He's wearing all the stuff that people paid him for, specifically his Cap armor, but also of course using the other gear to market out stuff in bars and wherever else he can be paid.
Remember? (the following his input) He's not a prop guy anymore. And he will also put on hold everybody else's stuff (people that have paid) when he has professional/studio gigs. He's not a prop maker anymore, he's a promoter. In costume.
So anyways, it's just tiring at this point to name dates and pages..... He's commercializing, and people still pay him (bars and clubs that don't care). He hasn't, and will not finish anybody's stuff, or refund money (feel free to pop in, anybody to say that he is or will).
66 pages in. He won't go to jail. I did what I could already (with the help of several people here, thank you) and hopefully this thread, a regaling effort, and (for once please) karma will get him away from anything and everything involving props and cosplay. Once again, 66 pages, he won't change, but he will bilk, prey, and fail on his own in another genre once he's out of this 'niche'.

crap im a recaster too.................
well, bought a model few years back of a car. it had custom made wheels but three of them where broken. took the last remaining one and made a mold and casted 4 new ones. difference between me and this guy: i dont sell them, never will but been asked for it.

Can't a bunch of the people who he's ripped off get together and file a lawsuit? When he fails to pay (which he will) won't a warrant be issued for his arrest? Dude, I'd donate to that cause. You need an address? I'd love to be a fly on the porch when he'd get served. The path is bleakest right before the breakthrough, it'd be a shame to give up now.

The intent of my previous post was to point out the difference between Winate's post and the businesses running the event. After looking at several of Winate event posts, there was some of his events not backed up by similar posts by the businesses. That lead me to think that perhaps he was never officially invited by the businesses. It was all just a posturing by him to claim credibility. So my thought is that unless his name is specifically mention by the businesses , he was never officially invited.
