XXX 67 GTO - anyone know where they are?

Hey does anyone know what happened to the hero versions of the 67 GTO from XXX? I know one or two stunt cars sold on eBay, but not what happened to the others.

were they 67's? I don't recall seeing the chrome paneling along the bottom of the door sill that 67's have. Thought the movie cars were 68's...

either way, no clue where the hero is, but since my brother has a fully restored 67, it caught my interest.

68's were the next gen body style. as for the chrome molding under the door, i'm pretty sure it was optional on the lemans and tempest, which both share the GTO body and are WAY cheaper. i wouldn't be shocked at all if the production used a lemans or tempest instead of a GTO.

there was a "screen-used" XXX car at a barris museum in gatlinburg, tn a few years ago... alongside a completely bogus "screen-used" ectomobile, a bogus "screen-used" KITT from knight rider, and a bogus "screen-used" dukes of hazzard general lee. :rolleyes
