Trying to make a Deadpool costume

So this is all new to me, but I have sewing experience and have proven to be quite good at these things. I want to make a movie replica costume. I don't want to spend over $100 making it though.

I've seen tons of one piece spandex suits that just look so fake. I want to make a very realistic one. Any ideas on the materials or how to do it? I could really use your expertise.

Is buying a one piece suit completely out of the question for you, if not I recommend going to Ken Landrums free Deadpool files thread and downloading one of the suit files. I downloaded a pattern by ClintF on that thread that has accurate weathering to the suit including bullet holes/stitches ect..

Heres the link for the pattern download, https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B07jBhU1RnHId0tGOWJlbXdwTms/view

I got it printed and sewn by Zentai-Zentai and it only cost me $90 with shipping. The suit in general was $70 plus $20 in shipping. Not bad for the price I only waited about 3-4 weeks and the suit arrived, it took them about a week to print it and a week and a half the sew it and it was on its way.

I would post pics of my suit but Clint has a few pics on Kens thread as well. As for making the shoulder pads, glove armor, or almost anything 3D on the suit just go with craft foam. I'm no expert but since you have sewing experience you could sew the foam parts onto the suit.

Kens thread also has files for a faceshell with magnetic lenses for 3D printing available you can print them yourself if you have a 3D printer or you can use this site here, https://www.3dhubs.com/3dprint

Heres a link to my thread with a pic of my suit http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=264927&highlight=skull+splitt3r

Hope this helps a little bit, hopefully it does :)
