Hey folks - last 18 months have been exceptionally tough so I've been trying to do some modelling and prop building. I grew up with Explorers and it was one of my favs as a kid. I found a great model of the Thunder Road by Buissonland via his Etsy Shop (1:12 thunder Road From Explorers | Etsy) and decided to give it a go.
My experience is next to zero - I bought my first 3D printer a few months back to play with and a few weeks ago got a cheap airbrush, some sticker paper and some paint on Amazon, and am learning as I go. I'm a big fan of makers and their craft though so have lots of inspiration
Anyway, I'm nearly there, just the lighting to figure out next... trying to wrap my head around LEDs, series, parallel, resistors and all that! Here's my progress to date. Cheers!
