Thorin Oakenshield costume - keeping busy over summer break

IThen I made Orcrist. I took a plastic toy Orcrist and rebuilt the handle using epoxy putty, sanded off various imperfections on the blade, and painted the whole thing so it didn't look like a cheap piece of plastic

What toy Orcrist is that you used?

I used the Rubies one. The hilt isn't the right shape, and it's in severe need of an improved paint job, but it's a great base on which to build.
