The Expanse - Zip Pull ID?

Hi folks, I hope this is the right way/place to do this. I'm trying to ID the zipper pull that's used on Amos Burton's mechanic suit in The Expanse and I've had no luck as yet, so thought I'd post it here to see if anyone has any thoughts? These are the best shots I can find of it.

My first impression is this is a small metal tube such as aluminum or brass which was crushed on one end, rotated 90 degrees, slipped tube's open end over the end of the existing zipper pull, and crushed again to hold it onto the pull tab end.

Heat shrink tubing over an existing pull? The close up looks like you may need a piece of plastic perpendicular to the pull to get that shape on the extension, but the wide shot looks like they just left it round. I would expect more parallel edges over the pull if it were a crushed metal tube. It seems to match the angled edges of the pull.
