It's funny you can't get good Street fighter or mortal kombat live action stuff in theaters but they do good online.

Yeah I was a backer for it when it was on kickstarter and then it got picked up by a distributor so they didn't need the kickstarter any more. They really did an excellent job and stuck to the original source material and offered plenty of little fanservice nods for the hardcore fans of the Street Fighter series. Some epic moments as well, Ryu getting his theme music for one. Hollywood just can't or won't do that, it's all about the focus groups and diluting the IP into something generic enough to appeal the the broadest audience possible. The great thing is this fan project turned out better than anything Hollywood would ever do with the IP. The movie is also now out on DVD and Blu Ray and I'll be picking up a copy at some point. EDIT: Movie is available for Pre-Order now I should say. Officially releases Oct. 28.

Yes, it had excellent songs tied-in directly from the original game! And all the martial-arts moves were brought to life quite well. "SHO-RYU-KEN!" "I want some pound cake!"

They even had the tippy toes hado stance as well...
