I used a small drop of super glue. Bonded well with no issues

Been way to long since I've posted an update... Well I've sold my helmet, blasters, belt, Drinkman, and spats in favor of redoing them. I purchased the MDuckett helmet, Mrgreene blasters, and one of the resin cast Walkmans from the junkyard. I've been working on my spats lately and like where they're at (not 100% screen accurate but close enough for me). Let me know what you think!

Thanks! It wasn't extremely difficult but there was a steep learning curve. My friend had some stuff to dip as well and we used an entire kit worth of film. I ended up doing each handle 3-4 times before finding a good technique.

Made some more progress! Got the bag from montified88.

Finished up one of the blasters from the MrGreene kit! And got a legit tps-l2!


Finished up my new rockets.


Also took some pics of the belt and boots just for fun


Been kind of overrun with belt orders so I haven't been able to do much with my MDuckett helmet yet. Done about 80% of the clean up, got it cut in half, and still need to install the Risu lens kit.

Heya! Impressive build!! I'm headed to ECCC for the third year and finally decided to commit to the con . I'm a girl and I'm going as Quill and am mostly put together as far as jacket, holster, helm, and blasters. I'm hurting on the pants, spats, and undecided on the tshirt direction I want to go in. Do you have sources for the spats? pants? How long did either take to acquire if you had them made? Emerald City Comicon is at the end of March so I'm a bit up against the wall and would definitely! appreciate any thoughts or tips.Thanks for posting such an amazing build.

Thanks for the compliments! I actually made the spats myself. I used the Skechers as a base and a black half chap as the base for the faux boot.
I had the pants commissioned but there is a good enough option on eBay (pm me and I'll send a link). Unfortunately the lady who made is no longer taking orders for them.
