I'm in the final stages of developing a prototype for the Star Lord and Nebula boots, which seem almost identical except for the sole and the upper. I already located the exact sole used for Nebula's boots:
And I'm looking for a way to make the metal pieces, since they look to be custom-made for the movie. If I can't find them I'll use similar parts. The boots will be made fully or almost fully out of high-quality, top-grain leather, accompanied by screen-accurate textiles. These boots will be made to be comfortable and resilient, perfect for those long days on your feet at conventions and events.
