Cool :lol Never seen this done and it looks great! Next time try using epoxy for fiberglass, it won't harm the foam and it's much more pleasant to use.

Hahaha thanks guys! And thanks for the epoxy tip! It was definitely a fun project, I look forward to trying fiberglass again although hopefully on sometime smaller. X)

All together I think we weighed it in at 8 pounds! The mask weighs practically nothing since I foam fabricated that, but the rest I'm sure is mostly the fiberglass and bondo. Still could be worse!

The client is wearing it to Comic Con tomorrow, I'll have to ask him how his neck holds up! lol!

The client I made the helmet for won Stan Lee's Costume Contest at his Comic Con party last night!! AH I'm so proud! They're going to do a photoshoot of the whole costume together after they get back from the con!

Hahaha Bernie got an interview on G4! It was wild, I tuned on the Comic Con coverage and there was the G4-girl WEARING MY HELMET! I took video of the interview I'll upload to youtube ASAP

He's gotten tons of awesome photos of it! I'm so excited!

Belated but thanks!! That is not me, though, that's my friend who commissioned the helmet! His wife is the Harley-Quin in those photos made the rest of his outfit. It turned out so fabulous!

Hahaha he told me that a bunch of RPFers had gone up to him saying they had seen this thread! I'm sure he was super proud.
