Dome position makes ALL the difference in how it seems to look. The Efx and the SL are more-or-less identical.

I love the S.L...
Amazing and it looks about ten percent bigger than the Efx.

Totally agree about the dome position. Even 1 degree or 1 millimeter difference is easily detectable by vader experts. And not just the positioning of the dome in the front view but also from the side view (i.e. how far out from the faceplate should the widows peak be?). A strictly quantitative comparison of the domes would be interesting (e.g. distances and/or arc lengths between reference points for each).
