try casting items in fiberglass I will often use cheap toys to cast better quality items out of fiberglass. it is much more rigid and can be sanded and painted.

here is an example of my shield I used a full size toy shield for the mold. if you user the fiberglass cloth it molds perfectly over the item.

Cyberpyrot, I have used FG plenty but wanted this suit to be flexible. This is especially true of the neck. I tried the whole lot on tonight and movement is ok but limited. Oh, and I don't like spending the next two days scratching!

I was referring to the utility belt and the armor peices I can see where the neck would be a problem tho.
