Earlier this year I made full-scale Gonk.

At Hobby Lobby these tiny storage bins caught my eye. I knew they would make a great mini-Gonk!
He was a pretty easy build. He's probably 1:6 scale. I scavenged a ton of parts from around my workshop for detail. I wanted a few open panels to show some inner-wokings. The electronics and LEDs are a tiny strand of battery-powered Christmas lights. Feet are wood. Honestly, the thing I struggled with (on my large Gonk too) is that there is NO glue that will stick to these rubbermade/tupperware. Nothing. No. Glue. So, everything is screwed or riveted. Even with primer, the paint barely wants to stick to this stuff.
The finished product is pretty fun. Now I have a Gonk for my desk at work.
