SCORPION costume WIP from Mortal Kombat 2021

Credit for that goes to my husband. He has become a master painter in a little under 5 years. He has made some incredible friends in the industry (some of which are well known here) and between tips from them and his own hard work, research, trial and error, etc... this is the result.

Apologies for the poor lighting.
We had our first dress rehearsal last night, so i thought I'd share some images of it all together ahead of the con this weekend:
And the obligatory Action Figure pose
Since Josh first printed the torso armour, he has lost almost 60 lbs! So it will need to be remade after this weekend, as it makes him look LOADS bigger in the upper body than he actually is.
I am considering making the torso from leather as well instead of printing it. Either that, or he will print a master and we will cast it in urethane rubber.
