So I stumbled across a pretty interesting Entertainment Earth preorder the other day...

Evidently Rubies is releasing some Arkham Origins Deathstroke stuff this fall. Now I know you get what you pay for, and in this case that's a cheap vinyl mask, but I'm still tempted to order one. It seems to have a surprising degree of accuracy, and if it can be suitably reinforced, filled in the screen/ mesh areas, and given a new paintjob, I think this thing has potential. What do you guys think? $15 price tag make it worth a shot?

I wouldn't trust Rubies Costumes for any great quality mask! They have disappointed many customers and collectors over the years. I know the price sounds great, but it's best to save up for something of better quality. I have two quality Deathstroke masks but from the TV show, ARROW. If you decide to upgrade, you can watch both videos below and contact them.

Good luck!

What they make never looks even passingly similar to their photos. I wouldn't buy it until either seeing it in person, or seeing photos not shot by them.

In the past, my experience with Rubies Joker Bank Robbery and Jigsaw masks were awful! It's a flimsy latex and doesn't hold any shape whatsoever! I ended up just giving them away!

Good luck!

Rubies costumes are junk most of the times. Invest in what people make here, you will be proud to display it, Rubies crap? It is lucky the costume will stay in one piece.

Just curious if you ended up ordering this Rubies mask or not. Either way, wish you the best of luck getting a good version, because Deathstroke is a great character.

I know, though in fairness I'm sure they would fluff it out a bit in store but that just goes to show what the product is

Edit: Folks like Eye of Sauron, Cassus Props and others have provided some damn good pep files so theres really no need to waste $15

I saw one and it didn't look that bad. it was on display at my local spirit. I actually considered buying it.
the pic above must have been in the sun or something... but I wouldn't order it but if you see it at the store like I did I believe it will be better.

I wonder if when they do come off the line at the factory, they look decent? and maybe was packaged up so it doesnt get crushed and look all deranged by the time it gets to a store

Wow, that thing is terrible, no matter how you slice it! I wouldn't use that thing to wipe my..., well, you know where I was going with that! I feel the need to make up for this tragedy by posting a decent Deathstroke mask video again!

Enjoy!
