RubberToe Replicas: Tardis Siege Cube Review!

Putting felt on one side would be better as an option, can’t imagine many would want them that way. Glad mine doesn’t have felt on one side

Noticed that Rubbertoe is offering their take on a Rubik’s cube stand that fits these cubes now.

Ive sent them a question asking for clarification and got this response:

"The first version we did did have all the sides with the pattern, but as a consequence it had to be made with a two-part mould, which was very labour intensive as it's entirely made by hand. Unfortunately when the price of the resin went up it no longer became viable to make them. We took them off the shop for a while but we kept getting requests for them, so we tried to think of a way we could still offer them. The answer was to have one side felted, thereby allowing us to use a one part mould which is much less labour intensive, but the felted side does not have the pattern on. We dropped the price a bit to reflect the difference..."

...Why not just raise the price instead of making an inferior product?

I agree. Raise the price.
