Removing paint on urethane help?

Just painted my urethane CA cowl from Finhead per his instructions, the paint seemed to have adhered pretty good actually and doesn't flake off, but somehow the paint peeled off in small areas when I used the masking decals, I know he suggested to de-tack decals but already they didn;t stick that well on the rurethane matt surface finish, de-tacking them would have just peeled off, whats can I use to remove paint on urethane. BTW I used laquer paint Sobotaz as suggested.
