Very sad indeed. Fantastic talent hobbled by a very troubled life. She was/is a staple in my music collection since I was a kid!

So terribly sad. She was one of a kind, both as a top-tier musician and performer and as a brave and beautiful person unafraid to speak truth to power. She shone like a star. I hope she finally found the peace that eluded her so often in life. Rest in power, Sinéad. You were always one of our best and brightest.

I saw her three times over the years and every time she was glorious - a simply devastating force of nature. What a voice. What a presence. This solo acoustic version of one of her earliest and most heartfelt songs is one of the best live performances I've ever seen... I wish I'd been there to see it in person.
