I would just stick to the coaster brake on the rear and call it good.

Would a caliper brake on the back wheel work? I'm looking at an auction for a 3 speed hub that has the shifter included, but it's not a coaster brake.I would just stick to the coaster brake on the rear and call it good.

Maybe you can hook up the nexus 3 using the 3 speed shift. That would be cool. I used red shifter tubing. I think it may be thicker though.Look at the Nexus 3 speed hubs. They have a coaster brake and are easy to set up.

I had the same issue with my stripes i may have used clear tape under the fenders to hold them. I would not use a caliper in the rear as it may interfere with the bags
Makes sense. I guess the lever is also at a rather inconvenient spot for braking, but maybe it might be good for stopping fast. I think this partially has to do with my need to make pretty much everything on this bike functional.I really think a caliper brake would be unnecessary. My bike stops just fine with the coaster, and yours is probably a lot lighter with that cantilever frame.
There isn't near enough crap bolted to that car to make it Peewee's! Haha!
