Re: Our Iron Man Mark IV (thigh-codpiece mobility video on post #13)

i like the hip pod mobility you made. really nice! and gotta say your suit it stunning! hoping mine will turn out as good as yours. props to you :)

thank you. hope it helps. goodluck on your build...

very nice love it, could you please share the design to the upper leg portion? i really hate on my suit that is exposed =\

sorry for the late reply. PM me if you still need the pattern. thank you...

Everybody else has said it already, but I'll just say it again: FANTASTIC build! One question tho: what did you do for your arc reactor? It fits in very well with the rest of your costume, so I'm just wondering what you may have used.

thank you. i used this push type emergency LED light...

Nice stuff Roy. WOuld you mind sharing how you guys did the detail lines in the armor? Is it basically burning the lines in with a soldering iron, or dremmel?

soldering iron AFAIK. this process requires steady hands... =)
haven't tried it myself...

Finally You Got a thread Dude! You know what i'm gonna say already? Its "Too hardcore" Love It! The Best one "Made yet! You Killin' em'. None to match yours.... BTW thanks for info in the PM. Keep Building!.... Delray

thank you also...=)

Not exactly sure what you are trying to accomplish???? HE gives credit to the builder in the origional post??? What he paid for the commission is between him and the builder.... no idea what you are trying to do

Amazing. Looks really really good.

Re: Our Iron Man Mark IV (thigh-codpiece mobility video on post #13)

hello! Is that someone could show me a detailed picture of the binding between the biceps and forearm on the version FOAM!?
I thank the one who answer me

Re: Our Iron Man Mark IV (thigh-codpiece mobility video on post #13)

That is an incredible suit mate, really jaw-dropping. The proportions and fit look perfect. Love the paint work too: the blacklining, and the chipped damage look amazing; think I will try that with my suit, when I finally get to that stage!
Well done guys!

Re: Our Iron Man Mark IV (thigh-codpiece mobility video on post #13)

Just found this thread-this is one of the best suits I have seen, ever!!!

Re: Our Iron Man Mark IV (thigh-codpiece mobility video on post #13)

Very nice, very clean built! keep it up!

Re: Our Iron Man Mark IV (thigh-codpiece mobility video on post #13)

You don't even begin to know how I HATE foam suits!!

BUT your suit, my friend, is the best foam armor I've ever seen!!! From construction to paint and weathering .. I'm truly impressed!!! And kinda jealous!

:thumbsup

Re: Our Iron Man Mark IV (thigh-codpiece mobility video on post #13)

Love the thigh joint. Was thinking of something similar. One question though. What did you use to cover your elbow joint?

Re: Our Iron Man Mark IV (thigh-codpiece mobility video on post #13)

I've seen other foam builds online, but this one looks like the best. as other people have said, the thigh and cod piece section looks great, it doesn't look as much like a costume a others. great job :)

hey man how did you do the small joint plates between your tighs and the cod? i'm makin an extremis suit soon so i wanna make it fit super well but dunno how to get those plates to work without wrecking them while i move. i wanna remain fairly flexible ( as much as you can be in a full suit =P )

Re: Our Iron Man Mark IV (thigh-codpiece mobility video on post #13)

Covering the thighs is so key. Well done!
