Not much of an update , got some more paint on ,did some more wiring. Started working out the parts for the mast.

Any cylicone will do. I use smooth-on mold star T20 because I have it and it’s great for making very small mold quickly.

Cut the mast read for all that brass work that need to go on it.

Sculpted the sofa this time for the scaled of detail.

I don't know how you do it. wire everything with limited access, Or have you routed the wire and just need to finish the connections? Either or, YES the wiring is a pain in the rump. I found these switches so I can turn the lights on/off right from the Tx.

, it’s just the physically doing it the mast is the hardest . 3 car head lights and that huge flood light. I could have made the mast in 2 halves and glued them together making a hollow space for the wires but I went with the same small wires on the out side like last time.

Timber has turned up for the prototype harpoon gun. I have the aluminium and hardware already.

Used the vice as a glue clamp. Ha no I don’t use milling bits in my drill chuck .

It’s just resin I liked the tactile look of the real fabric in version 1 but I could get that loose look I wanted

Got the edging down now , without loosing a finger. One reason I want to do the 6th scale is that all the wood work detail will be bigger. 2mm x2mm

Took DCNs idea and fitted the mast with magnets. He is right once it’s cables are connected it can’t go anywhere.

Big Hugs, every now and then my old brain works. I just thought it would be easier using magnets to allow the cabin roof to be removed. So glad the idea worked!
