NASA collectible (or not) plates

hi all
sorry if this is not the correct forum. we were walking round a vintage sale and i spotted these two plastic plates. before i even had chance to ask anything about them my dad bought them. the seller claimed they came from "the space center" the back says texas ware as in photo 3. i have no idea if they are collectable or valuable or even if they are worth what he paid for them. I love anything NASA so if nothing else they xan be for my little boy to eat from when hes old enough to feed himself.
has anyone seen these before and know anything much about them?

There are a bunch of different styles of these NASA Texas-Ware melamine plates. They look to be mid 1970s, and they are not particularly rare. They are readily available for $10-30 each.

Hope that helps!

definitely helps thanks for the information. we didn't pay much at all for them (i say we, i mean my dad haha) so worst case scenario he spent a few dollars. I didn't expect they were a rare find, but they are interesting none the less.
