Well, I shot the whole thing with some primer to get a better pics of the set-up, and it still looks pretty good to me. It seems that for every angle I took these pics in, there's a reference image where the helmet looks almost exactly the same proportion-wise. I spent half a day yesterday watching ESB and looking at my helmet from similar angles to the ones shot on Vader's scenes in the film. As much as I want this dome to work, I am actually looking for angles where it doesn't look good, and honestly, I'm not finding many. It would really help if someone with a DP Deluxe or a SPFX would give me 2 measurements (by PM if necessary):

-tip to tip of the corners of the flange (by the "jaw")
-circumference measured around the line that separates the upper from the lower section of the dome.

Is the verdict still the same?

I think the dome is still just a little too high, maybe 1/2" too tall.

Drop the dome and I think it's spot on.

It looks 100% better to me, but if you could get in 1/4 lower I'd try.

No one would probably notice but us, it looks really spot on.
