I started with the eyeofsauron build too. just bought the propzone file.

Here's a short update...
I've been working on my belt...

I downloaded some pictures and tried to draw the
symbol..guess what? it went ok! ..not a big deal...

Cut a piece of eva foam with the same measures and covered with black "Dril" fabric...


Then I cut the black leatherette to use it as a base for the golden pattern...

Cut the golden pattern and glue it to the black base...

I cut a long strip of EVA foam, covered with Dril fabric and then, with the gold fabric that I've been using for the other parts...

I left a small and centered rectangle so I could glue some velcro later....

same for the bottom edge of the belt...

What a great build and at a time where I'm itching to start my own White Ranger. Love the shield too, well done.

to be honest....I have a big head hahahah so the measures are ok...take a look...

Height 300 mm, Width 225 mm, Depth 523 mm, Scale: 273.577539

The helmet fits perfectly...I have some space for gluing the visor and padding....

What do u think?

Instead of gluing in supports to resin the helmet, do you think if I blow up a balloon inside the helmet, resin ut, the pop it when the resin is dried?

it might work...but I'm not quite sure about that...

maybe the baloon doesnt fit the helmet .... it might leave some inner spaces without covering...or maybe ... it might distort the piece....
sounds interesting...but it's kind of risky hahaha

well, I used the balloon tonight. I didn't fill the balloon all the way or anything, just pushed it up to the top of the helmet where it's rounded. The resin is drying now, and I will post a pic tomorrow of it. for now tho, heres a pic of it before resin.

Hey man!!

hard to answer that. ....because (probably) we both don't live in the same country... hahaha...but... I could tell you that I've got mine from a store that sells fabric for shoes...

tha's the secret for my chest and my arms and legs pieces.... .... you will find a good one.... pay attention to the quality and how shiny it is ... that would give you a great look!!

hey guys!!!

Here's the update!!!


I've been working a lot!... and when I say a lot..... it really is!!!! you'll see...

So, we were talking about the boots and the gloves, right???

take a look!





So, I bought some boots for $40 and some gloves for another $15...They all were made from leather
I cut a piece of black leatherette and some piece of velcro and sewed them together...That's how I made the "base" for the golden parts!!!

Do you remember the small "squares" I cut before??...well...here's the reason why I did that..!!!

I covered them with "dril" fabric and glued some gold fabric over... just like you've seen for the belt... I think I said that before.... anyways...

I put some velcro behind the "squares" so they could fit the boots and the gloves....



now, i can change or fix them anytime I want!!!
