As much as I can't stand the design of the new metal helmet, you did an AMAZING job of making one yourself, it looks stunning! Especially considering it's made out of metal rather then plastic of foam. Kudos to you

hello since we got some better pictures of the helmet(and suit) at comic con I am modifying my helmet and fixing the things I got wrong. starting with the back

that's what the back should look like

that's what the back of mine looked like.









here's were I'm at now. after I finish fixing it I'm going to add the battle damage and paint it

some more updates on modifying the helmet

I had to remake the vent on the side to give it a more sharp line.

I also added the detail line right above the vent





I welded everything up and ground it smooth









now I just have to finish up the lower back piece and it will be accurate. after I get that finished up ill add the battle damage and paint it. I'm thinking of casting it as well.

I got the BATtle damage done. I also primed the helmet now to get it ready for paint!

I got the helmet ready for molding!! I did a quick sculpt of a mouth to block off the mouth opening .
