Astyanax pointed out that nobody seems to have done a replica of this one, and, since it seemed straightforward enough, I set to work.

As is so often the case, there appear to have been two different hero props. A shorter, more strongly tapered prop held by Stephen Merchant and Hugh Jackman, and a longer, blunter prop used by Dafne Keen in the finale. Astyanyx and I both liked the "Jackman" version better, so that's what we based this on.

You can see just how different the Jackman is from the Dafne:

In the end, we based the unseen body of the bullet on some grooved examples I found.

There's additional spacer that fits underneath to hold the bullet at the correct height, and inside of the bullet is a hole the diameter of a bamboo skewer for painting purposes.

After some tests, I settled on Tamiya TS-30 "Silver Leaf" as the closest approximation of the prop's appearance in daylight. Printed, painted and glued into a .357 shell:
