Hey, I have been lookin into adding some weathering to my build and I like how you have the black shadow with a bit of chrome scratching in all the details and lines. How did you do it? Air brush or something else...

right a little update,
gonna be slowing down shortly the winter is gettin here:cry
been doing a little definition work on legs n pivot points added.

created the collar plate from upvc board,forex

poly back pulled from mold

started cleaning up+added few details to mid /cod section

wasnt happy with old abs,so created some from upvc board,forex,imnow

decided to have a little play,pulled lower half of chest from mold in fibreglass,then created upper from upvc board,forex n a new chest is nearly born

n finally got round to getting the eyes made when it was too cold to go outside

... just dont forget to give due credit to the originator... because that will keep the sharing... heared what happened to dung0beetle (someone claimed his pep work and now he dont want to instantly share anymore) bummer!

And another thing to share... i made the LED eyes design simple because I always follow this KISS (Keep-It-Simple-Stupid) principle...:thumbsup

small update

collarplate is now molded cast,painted n weathered.
reworked/detailed the hands,so time to get them molded n cast then all top section is complete.
might be time for a full upper half suit up then,what do you reckon?


mold

cast collarplate painted

centre cut out of hands

rings from foamboard

filled n rings fitted

left hand

right hand with 3 missing fingaz tips

the fingaz for this hand will only have 1 joint.
the mid n upper will be joined together

I was curious the upper chest more looks like the hot toys model and it looks amazing did you make the modifications your self? or did u have a pep file because i would love to make a foam build with that type of chest piece just difficult without a good starting point

the upper chest i heavily modified,it initially started life as robo's pep file,as you can see earlier in thread.i then made a waste mold took a pull with easyflo 120 liquid plastic,n cut it into pieces which were heated,manipulated,stuck back together filled etc,then created another mold for the finish piece

not done a great deal,im in hibernate mode for winter
managed to get rear footplates molded n cast

fingaz cast (what a bloody nightmare:angry)

hip pods cast n painted

hand molds

hands painted

repulsor fitted,just a little £1.50 torch

camera picked up a slight blue ring:lol

lights out

n a few bits for surreal lol:lol

well thats all folks
