Into Darkness:New Phaser Belt?

It appears that "Into Darkness" will introduce a new phaser Belt, as seen on the cover current issue of Empire Magazine, I couldn't fine a higher resolution image of the cover but this one,here's a closeup. Can anybody identify it as a bought or created for the production item? Also the phaser itself looks like it has a new paint job.

I had hope that wasn't the case, creating the belt from scratch without any sewing skills will be a challenge.

Yeah, me too. Really lucked out on the first movie as I have worn a duty belt or two on the job and had one laying around. Unless we really get lucky on this one from what I have seen in the real world and on other Trek uniform sites on the net this one is a custom made item. :cry

Anybody know how create a pattern for a gun Belt?

Hmmm.....After further research I am seeing a similarity to what is called a Hydration Belt used by runners and such. Wishful thinking but probably not.

I have been doing a lot of leg work on trying to find an off the shelf belt. Everything from construction/drill belts to sports and even law enforcement belts. I give up. :facepalm

It was a custom piece, very simple to 're create. The belt and holster are a one piece.
