Hypoallergenic makeup adhesives?

I found out (the rather hard way) after wearing a baldcap for an entire day that I am allergic to spirit gum. I'm not sure which component the allergy is for, as I've been discovering that certain adhesives just do not like my skin (medical tape is a doozy as well, apparently).

I was wondering what people suggest for effects makeup adhesives that might be nicer on my skin than spirit gum? I've seen several other kinds but I'm loathe to spend $30 on a small bottle that I might end up not being able to use.

I've seen other types of baldcaps that use alcohol as opposed to glue, so I have that option. However, I have a costume that I am keen to attempt that will require full facial, neck, and hands prosthetics, so I'm looking at what my options are.

I used this recently as a safe option as I wasn't sure of what my actor's skin was going to like or not. This dries spectacularly fast and is especially good for sensitive skin, so may be an idea. I also used the bottle more than 10 times and still have loads and loads left. Hope this helps!

If that doesn't work for you, you might want to consider trying silicone based prosthetics and something like Skin Tight by Smooth On for the adhesion. I have ridiculously sensitive skin and it's the only thing I've been able to use that hasn't given me hives. Good luck!
