The first film was effective enough. It's like an experience, like a roller coaster, and one I thought was worth having. If you can get over the coincidence that 4 families happen to have cameras everywhere and record everything pertaining to the same ghost, then I suppose the sequels are equally as effective, just terribly unnecessary.
